How do I turn on HUSH?
HUSH's tour opens Safari's settings for you. Or go to Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions and turn on HUSH (then All Websites › Allow) and its four blockers: HUSH Ads & Trackers, HUSH Privacy, HUSH Privacy+ and HUSH Security. The first time, each blocker can take a few seconds to switch on.
How do I check everything is on?
Open HUSH › Settings › Help & status. It should say 4 of 4 blockers on, and HUSH is fully on in Safari.
Does HUSH block ads inside other apps?
HUSH works in Safari, in its own HUSH browser, and in apps that open web pages using Safari. Ads inside other apps aren't blocked.
A website isn't working properly.
Allow it: in Safari, tap the page menu › HUSH › Allow this site, or tap Share › Allow on HUSH. It loads normally. You can manage allowed sites in HUSH › Settings. You can also switch off any of the Safari extras in Settings.
A YouTube video won't play.
HUSH switches back to YouTube's own player by itself if a video won't play. If it still won't, turn off YouTube ads in HUSH. Everything else stays protected.
How do I turn on HUSH in Safari?
In Safari, tap the page menu beside the address bar › Manage Extensions › turn on HUSH › tap HUSH › Always Allow on Every Website.
My iPhone and iPad don't match.
Make sure both are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on for HUSH. Changes usually appear within a minute.
How do I clear the HUSH browser's data?
Open HUSH › Settings, find the HUSH browser section, and clear its data. You'll be signed out of sites in the HUSH browser.
I hid something by mistake.
HUSH › Settings › Hidden elements › choose the site › swipe to remove the rule, or reset the site.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Open HUSH and tap Restore on the welcome screen, or go to Settings › Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Settings › your name › Subscriptions › HUSH › Cancel Subscription.
How do I turn HUSH off?
In Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions, switch off HUSH and its four blockers. To remove it completely, delete the app.
